From March 7 to March 10, 2016, the SEG Student Chapter visited Buriticá project, Marmato project, La Colosa project and Payandé Skarn. The field trip took place Northern Andes of Colombia. These deposits are located in the Middle Cauca Belt close to the Cauca Romeral fault system and related to magmatic during Miocene. Twelve people participated in this field trip: eight students, three professional and academic advisor. Buriticá project is an intermediate sulfuration epithermal gold deposit which is in charge of the company Continental Gold. Ltda, Marmato Project is an epithermal deposit it is being developed by the company Gran Colombia Gold Corp and La Colosa project is an au-rich porphyry deposit which is in charge of the company Anglo Gold Ashanti. This field trip could carry out thanks to Stewart R. Wallace Funding Program of the Society of Economic Geologists which we want to acknowledge for support us.
